Interfaith Council sets Thanksgiving Service

ARLINGTON - The Federated Church of East Arlington on Ice Pond Roadwill be holding the annual Thanksgiving Service, sponsored by The Interfaith Council of the Northshire, on Tuesday, Nov. 20, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Interfaith Choir, under the direction of Jeff Linebeck, will offer two anthems to capture the spirit of gratitude associated with Thanksgiving.

The sermon will be offered by the Rev. Dr. Steve Jewett, Pastor at the First Baptist Church, Manchester.

Everyone is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be shared by the two local food shelves. The offering gathered will go to support friends and neighbors through the Emergency Needs Fund of the Interfaith Council. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship and refreshments in Bailey Hall. Please phone 375-2548 for directions or additional information.
