iMacs to iMark

To the Editor:

Manchester area residents as well as visitors can now access iMac computers at the Mark Skinner Library thanks to the generosity of our neighbor, Burr and Burton Academy. Fourteen iMac computers were recently donated to the library by BBA. Since the high school will be distributing iPads to every student in the upcoming academic year, BBA is downsizing its bank of computers. These iMacs may have a few years on them, but still have plenty of life!

We greatly appreciate the assistance of BBA's Director of Technology Kevin Morrison, as well as BBA alum and Independent Technology Consultant Jimmy Woodard, who served as a conduit between BBA and the library in the transfer.

Stop by the library on Tuesday and Thursday, 10-6; Wednesday, 10-8; and Friday and Saturday, 10-4 for the opportunity to use an iMac in addition to our PCs. For more information or to reserve time on an iMac, call the library at (802) 362-2607.
