Holy week in Dorset

DORSET - Holy Week will begin at 10 a.m. on Palm Sunday, March 24, with the Sunday School performing "Puppet Show Parables."

It will be a special service including both the Adult and Sunday School Choirs jointly singing the anthem.

On Maundy Thursday, March 28, at 5 p.m., there will be a foot-washing Service; at 5:30 p.m. an Agape Potluck Supper and at 7 p.m. a Tenebrae Service.

On Good Friday, March 29, at Noon there will be a Seven Last Words of the Cross Service.

All are welcome to attend church services on Easter Sunday, March 3, at 10 a.m. at the United Church of Dorset and East Rupert. Leading the choral processional will be the Adult and Sunday School Choirs.

The black curtain covering the Tiffany window in honor of Good Friday will be unveiled in celebration of the Resurrection. This joyous service lights the pathway of possibility for our hearts and lives.
