Holocaust tale set to be told

MANCHESTER - Israel Congregation of Manchester is hosting Dr. Jack Mayer, author of the book "Life in a Jar: The Irena Sendler Project." Dr. Mayer tells the story of a Holocaust hero who rescued 2,500 children from the Warsaw ghetto, and how three Kansas teenagers, 60 years later, helped to bring that hero's forgotten story to the world.

The discussion will be held Wednesday, July 17, at 7:30 p.m at Israel Congregation of Manchester, located at 6025 Main Street.
