Mark Skinner Library recently presented "An Evening of Holiday Memories."
This very special evening was Mark Skinner Library's gift to the community, and it was a gift made possible through the generosity of our performers who donated their time and talent as well as local sponsors and volunteers.
We had the pleasure of hearing tales of Hanukkah and Christmas presented by renowned storytellers Ruth Gilbert and Tom Weakley.
The delightful holiday music was provided by Mark Harding and Friends and Faculty of the Manchester Music Store.
The delectable refreshments were donated by Rachel's Gourmet Foods, The Reluctant Panther, The Sushi Boat, and Thyme Savor Foods.
We hope that you will support these local businesses that have supported your public library.
We appreciate the coordination efforts of Cindy Waters, and the backbreaking work performed by the BBA maintenance department, our library staff, and volunteers Cooper Bleakie, Curtis Merrow, and Harvey Flaxman to transform the library into an impressive and inviting café style environment.
It truly was a magical evening. We couldn't have done it without the support of these local businesses and individuals.
