Hoard joins BBA staff

MANCHESTER - Burr and Burton Academy has announced that Christine Hoard has joined the Advancement Office. She has more than 26 years of fund-raising and event planning experience. She has extensive fund-raising experience with the Glens Falls Hospital Foundation in Glens Falls, N.Y.

She also has many connections to the Burr and Burton community. She and her husband Frank, '80, live in North Granville, N.Y. They have two children, Marisa and Kyle, who are both attending college at SUNY Adirondack. Christine also has a stepson, Frank III, '99, who works for Orvis.

Originally from northern New Jersey, she and her family moved to Lake George when she was twelve. She graduated from Lake George High School and then went to Castleton State College where she received her Bachelors degree. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and supporting her husband at the local dirt stock car tracks. She and Frank own Hoard's Car Care, an automotive repair shop in Manchester.
