Help stuff envelopes of LVRS

LONDONDERRY - The Londonderry Valley Rescue Squad is looking for volunteers for a one day project on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Volunteers are needed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to help label and stuff 8,000 letters for the rescue squad's annual benefit raffle. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

LVRS serves the tri mountain towns of Winhall, Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Peru, South Londonderry, Stratton, Weston, and Windham. The funds raised will cover the squad's day to day operating expenses, training, ambulance maintenance, and replacement, and the purchase of equipment and supplies.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome. LVRS is located at 6068 Route 100 in Londonderry, just north of the blinking light in Londonderry. It is approximately 1/3 mile north of the intersection of Routes 100 and 11.
