Healing Therapies adds staff

MANCHESTER - Cyndy Shaw of Equinox Healing Therapies at 5053 Main Street in Manchester has announced the addition of two highly qualified professionals.

Ana del Rosal is licensed in Vermont and is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM). From 2006-2009 she was enrolled in Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City. It is a four-year Master's of Science in Acupuncture program and requires over 3,000 hours in acupuncture technique, clinic hours/internship, Chinese medicine theory, diagnosis and treatment, and western medicine. She focuses on stress reduction, pain management, gastrointestinal disorders, mood disorders, allergies, women's health, restless leg syndrome, and fibromyalgia. She also offers NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique), which is a technique that desensitizes the body's reaction to food, environmental and chemical allergens. NAET offers a solution to people who suffer from food sensitivities, environmental allergies, and allergic reactions that not analgesic.

Patti Weisser graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in 1992 after completing a three year master's program and over 3,000 hours of clinical training. In Portalnd, Ore. she worked at a federally funded acupuncture detox program and a sliding scale clinic treating the disadvantaged. In 1992 she returned to Pawlet and opened Flower Brook Acupuncture and Massage Clinic. Weisser treats everything from insomnia, migraines, infertility, allergies and more. Weisser still sees many of her first year patients to this day.

Her treatments often include massage, heat therapies and Chinese herbs. Today Patti divides her time in Tulum, Mexico and Pawlet.
