Hauben to read children's book at MSL

MANCHESTER - Manchester's own Lana Hauben, author of the children's book, "Ice Cream Land," will visit the Mark Skinner Library on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 10:30 a.m.

In what promises to be a very special Children's Story Time, Hauben will read her picture book, followed by an opportunity for kids to create and illustrate their own stories. Ice cream treats will be served, courtesy of Friendly's.

The program is free and open to the public. It is suggested for children ages four and up. Children must be accompanied and supervised by adult caregivers.

For more information, call the library at 362-2607 or visit www.markskinnerlibrary.org. The Mark Skinner Library is located at 48 West Road.
