Halloween parade in Winhall

BONDVILLE - The Mountain School at Winhall held it's annual Halloween parade through the center of town last Thursday morning. As part of the time honored tradition, MSW students donned their costumes and were welcomed and treated by local area businesses of Bondville as they paraded down Route 30. Several parents, friends and area residents came out to share in the festivities.

MSW was also thankful for the efforts of officer Greg Gould of the Winhall Police Department for working with the students on Halloween safety.

"It's really wonderful to have Officer Gould come to work with the kids," said PreK/K teacher Linda Burnett. "They get so caught up in the moment of costumes and trick or treating on Halloween that they can forget some basic safety. OG (Officer Gould) has such a connection with all our students and he is able to run through some great tips to keep the kids thinking safety first."
