And let's not overlook either the nice work done at the little pocket park next to the Rite Aid Plaza. Long a forlorn looking bit of seemingly neglected greenspace, it's been refurbished with new plants and trees that make it vastly more visually attractive.
With a spectacular week of late spring/early summer weather, we can all begin to look forward to the little party Manchester plans to throw for itself to celebrate the formal end to the Roundabout project and the start of the summer tourist season, which, as always, we hope is best one ever. Between upcoming car shows, art shows, musical performances and more, it should be a dandy. Congratulations all around. Around this time a tear ago, we were girding ourselves for the start of the construction of the Roundabout and the arrival of a dismal summer of traffic congestion. What a difference a year makes.
