Green Mountain Academy to present "The Bible and Conflict Resolution"

MANCHESTER >> Green Mountain Academy welcomes back perennial Green Mountain Academy favorite Rabbi Michael Cohen to lead a 2-part course on The Bible and Conflict Resolution. The Bible provides many examples and lessons about conflict resolution. This course will focus on some of the most important texts in the Bible when it comes to conflict resolution. Those selected texts will be examined using two thousand years of commentary and analysis. Modern conflict resolution theories, which provide contemporary approaches, will be integrated into the exploration of the text to help the participant understand the meaning through the prism of conflict resolution.

The 2-part course will be held on Wednesdays, March 9 and 16 in the Hunter Seminar Room at Burr and Burton Academy from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Registration for both of the classes is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. For more information or to register, call 802-867-0111 or visit
