GNAT to host summer camps


SUNDERLAND >> Greater Northshire Access Television, the region's community media and training center is offering five tech inspired summer camps.

There will be two sessions of Stop Motion Animation Camp, session one is open to ages 10-12 on July 5, and session two is on July 18 for ages 7-9. Campers will learn the process of Stop Motion Animation on iPad and go home with one or more finished animations.

Scary Movie Editing Camp is a three day camp where campers will learn the fundamentals of editing, storytelling, special effects, and other techniques. The camp takes place July 6-8 and is open to ages 12-14.

Kid's Kitchen Studio Production Camp is three day camp, from July 20-23, the campers will learn the skills needed to create, produce, star in and film a real live cooking show.

Kid on the Street News Camp is a two day camp where the campers will learn the basics of scripting, HD video camera and audio equipment operation, reporting, filming and interviewing. This camp is July 27 and 28, open to ages 10-14.
