GMALL offers presidential perspectives

Posted

MANCHESTER >> The Green Mountain Academy will welcome Dr. Clifford Brown of Union College to talk about the presidential nomination process, in which the rules of the game dramatically shape the nature of the contest. Dr. Brown will discuss the current nomination process for both parties and show how the current rules, political and financial, create barriers and opportunities that shape campaign and candidate behavior during the nomination steeplechase. He will also discuss the constellation of candidates in both parties and assess their strategic positions at the time.

The talk will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17 at the Manchester Community Library from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Registration is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. For more information or to register, call 802-867-0111 or visit their website at greenmtnacademy.org.
