Get a 'Taste of Vermont on Stratton'
Premier $100 tickets are available, featuring early access to the event with cocktails, and a meet, greet, and cooking demonstration by Vermont's food stylist and author, Tracey Medeiros. Medeiros will be showcasing her recipe of sauteed sea scallops in a smoked bacon and maple cream sauce, sponsored by Black River Produce (Ludlow). Medeiros will also present premier ticket holders with a signed gift of "The Vermont Farm Table Cookbook" or "Dishing Up Vermont" thanks to Misty Valley Books (Chester).
Adult tickets are $50 and children under 13-years-old are $20. Admission includes all non-alcoholic beverages, courtesy of the Stratton Mountain Resort. Wine and beer will be available.
Enjoy southern Vermont's culinary jewels representing 18 towns under one roof. Among the restaurants that will be represented are the the Reluctant Panther in Manchester, the Crazy Russian Girls Bakery in Bennington, the Downtown Grocery in Ludlow, the Windham Hill Inn of Townshend, Baba Louis in Chester, Whetstone Station in Brattleboro, and the chefs of Stratton Mountain resort among others.
Prizes will be given out for Best Apres Ski Recipe, Best Live Demonstration, Best Appearance and Presentation, and Best Mouthwatering Crowd Pleaser. Amateur Chefs will also be presenting their favorite dishes for the public and for prizes sponsored by Wusthof Knives & Cutlery and The Vermont Kitchen Supply.
Exclusive Taste of Vermont cutting boards sponsored by JK Adams and Taste of Vermont baseball caps sponsored by Norse House Ski & Sport will be sold.
The Taste of Vermont is also sponsored by Carbone Auto Group and Covey & Nye. Space is still available to participate, but tickets will be limited and early purchase is recommended online at www.strattonfoundation.org.
The Stratton Foundation is proud to support the youth in need, families who experience an incident of crisis, and organizations that provide services of necessity such as heat, food, and housing.
