Gardening Lectures Planned

LONDONDERRY - Neighborhood Connections, in conjunction with the Windham County Extension Master Gardeners, is offering a series of gardening lectures to kick off the season.

The next lecture will take place on Tuesday, April 29. Ron Herbert, an Extension Master Composter and past primary instructor in the UVM Master Composter Certification Program, will demonstrate making and using hot compost to dramatically improve all types of gardening soil.

The gardening lectures are scheduled from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at The Meeting Place at Neighborhood Connections and are free and open to the public. Space is limited, so call 824-4343 to reserve a seat.

Neighborhood Connections is a non-profit public health education and social services agency located in The Mountain Marketplace in Londonderry.
