Film screening planned at MCL


MANCHESTER CENTER >> The Greatest Generation Film Series presents the 1950 classic about Harvey, the six-foot rabbit on Wednesday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at the Manchester Community Library. Due to his insistence that he has an invisible six-foot rabbit for a best friend, a whimsical middle-aged man (played by James Stewart) is thought by his family to be insane — but he may be wiser than anyone knows. The film garnered a Best Supporting Actress award for Josephine Hull as well as a Best Actor nomination for Stewart.

The screening is free and open to the public. Running time is 104 minutes. Refreshments will be served, courtesy of Equinox Terrace. Manchester Community Library is located at 138 Cemetery Ave. in Manchester Center.Info: 802-262-2607.
