Federated Church sermon on Paul, Silas, and jailer
EAST ARLINGTON -- All are welcome to join in worship at Sunday, May 16 at 10 a.m. led by the Rev. Kathleen Clark, at The Federated Church of East Arlington on Ice Pond Road.
The Men’s Fellowship will meet at 8 a.m., this week in Bailey Hall for their monthly breakfast meeting.
Children ages four through ten years are invited to attend the service through the Time for Children and then go to Bailey Hall with their teachers for the Sunday Children’s Program.
On this 7th Sunday of Easter all are invited to join worship at 10 a.m.
The focus of the day’s service will be the story of Paul and Silas and their jailer (Acts 16: 16-34) with the message today titled, "The Company We Keep." Additional scripture for the day includes Psalm 97, Revelation 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21.
Following worship all are invited to Bailey Hall for refreshments and fellowship. During Coffee Hour there is a basket for contributions to support Holy Joe’s Cafe that supplies coffee to military chaplains to use in their work ministering to the U. S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
