FCC, Second Chance donating plastic toys

MANCHESTER - This holiday season First Congregational Church is working with Second Chance Toys to rescue and recycle plastic toys for kids in need by donating them to community organizations.

When non-biodegradable plastic is kept out of area landfills, it helps the environment and providing toys to children.

People can help this holiday season by bringing their gently used plastic toys to the Lobby of First Congregation Church from Dec. 13-15.

The toys should be complete: no broken, small or missing parts and if batteries are included, they must work.

The toys will be cleaned and prepared for donation on Sunday, Dec. 15, at FCC during the afternoon and then picked Up by Second Chance Toys and distributed.

Call the office of the FCC at 362-2709 with questions or for more information.
