Fashion show slated for Equinox village

MANCHESTER - Equinox Village will be holding An Afternoon of Fabulous Style: Fashion Show, Style Workshop and Luncheon on Wednesday, May 7, beginning at 12 p.m. to benefit the Manchester Community Library.

The event will feature spring and summer styles from eight local retailers - Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, JOY - all things underthings, Loft, Overland, Orvis and TSE and local celebrity models.

Host of the event and style expert Kathryn Mademann of KM2Style will host a fashion show and give tips to attendees about finding their personal style, the fit and colors that right for them, and creating their "wow" look everyday. Attendees will also be entered to win a shopping spree at local Manchester clothing stores.

Mademann is a professional stylist with more than 20 years experience in the fashion industry. In addition to a successful modeling career in print and on television, she hosted the television program "On Trend: Fashion Makeover" for three years. Her company KM2Style is her most recent venture, within which she works with private clients and regularly presents at corporate events, benefits and national venues.

Equinox Village is a vibrant independent living community situated on 11 acres in the heart of the Green Mountains' rich cultural and recreational opportunities.

Equinox Village was founded in 2006 by brothers Dr. Jim Russell and John Russell. They lead a team of caring professionals to offer the premier independent living experience in the region.
