Extreme sports: What difference does gender make?

MANCHESTER>> Green Mountain Academy will host a talk on Thursday June 23 at 5:30 p.m. with author and adventurer Jan Reynolds. The talk will be held at Burr and Burton Academy in the Hunter Seminar Room. Ms. Reynolds will take us on a wild ride around the world, setting world climbing and skiing records, and reflecting on how her feminine strengths led to success in a male-dominated field. This lecture is based on her most recent book, "High Altitude Woman," which chronicles the difference in the way men and women think, speak and behave. Registration is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. For more information or to register, call 802-867-0111 or visit greenmtnacademy.org.
