ARLINGTON — Arlington Memorial High School Principal Tim Stewart announced that three 2017 graduates and four current AMHS students have earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievements on the AP exams administered last spring.

Current students earning awards include seniors Katheryn Berger, Jamie Keel, Gracie Smith and Kaleigh Ward.

Recent AMHS graduates who earned AP honors include Jacob Smith (Ithaca College), Maggie Smith (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Jena Staab (University of Vermont).

"The success of these individuals is a testament to their personal achievement goals and the mission of academic excellence Arlington has for all students," Stewart said in a news release announcing the awards. "I want to thank the faculty for all they do to challenge and support each AMHS student."
