DRB hears Dunkin' Donuts proposal

MANCHESTER - During the Development Review Board meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 23, plans to renovate Dunkin' Donuts and a new design plan for the Mark Skinner Library were discussed, but no final decisions were made on either proposal, according to Planning Director and Zoning Administrator Lee Krohn.

Dunkin' Donuts has a plan to enlarge the car wash to have a second car washing unit while slightly downsizing the actual store itself, according to the report.

Officials from the Mark Skinner Library presented plans for their new building which they hope to construct on Cemetery Ave., but were unable to get those plans approved because a quorum of four voters from the DRB could not be met, according to Krohn.

An expanded story on both proposals is planned for next week's paper and Web site.
