Inspired by the classic American film, "It's A Wonderful Life, A Live Radio Play" is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience.
The production will use five male actors, three female actors and four children to play the multiple character roles. Children should be in the 8-11 year-old age range. Adults can be a variety of ages.
This new holiday classic will start rehearsal in October and run Dec. 6, 7, 8, 13,14 and 15. The Sunday performances will be matinees. Angie Merwin, who has previously directed "Spiders Web," "Crimes of the Heart" and "Judevine," will be directing the show.
No special preparation is necessary but the roles will require some singing and multiple character voices for each actor. For more information, contact Sheila Conway, the business manager at (802)-867-5570 or Angie Merwin at (802)-362-3021.
