'Don't Leave' up next on Green

MANCHESTER - The Manchester and the Mountains Regional Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series will feature Don't Leave Band, a local favorite, on Tuesday Aug. 6, from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Manchester Town Green.

2013 starts another year and "Don't Leave" remains Southern Vermont's most resilient and respected rock band, performing its ageless, unique blend of time honored rock and roll built around powerful vocals, contagious energy and the pure joy of making music together. They have been rocking the Northshire (and areas throughout the Northeast) for over 28 years with no end in sight.

The band is anchored by Bill Muench (acoustic guitar and vocals) and Lee Romano (bass guitar and vocals) who together started Don't Leave in 1985, and Dave Domenick (guitar) who's been with Don't Leave for 15 years.

Mike Meaney (drums and vocals) and Greg Snedeker (piano, cello and vocals) round out this high energy ensemble who people say are "more fun than is absolutely necessary!" On any given night they might be joined on stage by other musicians who sit in regularly.

Berkshire Bank, "America's Most Exciting Bank," is the sponsor of the Concert series again this year.

The Town of Manchester, Orvis and Long Trail School are all supporting sponsors this year. Concerts are free and open to the public. Please plan on bringing a chair, and come out and enjoy great music. For more information, call the Chamber at 802-362-6313.
