Danby announces candidates for office

DANBY - The following people are running for public office in Danby this year. Bradley Bender is running for a one-year term as town moderator. Chip Wright is running unnopposed for the two-year selectboard seat. Dan Garceau and Steve Haines are running for the one available three-year seat on the selectboard. Dorothea Edmunds and Cher Powers are running for the one year term as delinquent tax collector. Fisk is running unopposed for a one-year term as grand juror. Hilda Haines is running unopposed for a three-year term as trustee of public funds. Roger Bromley and Hilda Haines are running unopposed for the two open three-year terms as cemetery commissioners. Fisk is running unopposed for the one-year term as town agent. Majorie Abbott and Richard Smith are running for the one open three-year seat as auditor. Edmunds is running unopposed for a three-year term as lister. Bender is running unopposed for a one-year term as Danby local school moderator. Jennifer Halligan-Korejko is running unopposed for a three-year term as Danby local school board director and Emily Hoyt is running for a one-year term on the U.D. #23 school board.
