Crash on icy road involves at least 3 vehicles
ARLINGTON -- At approximately 8:31 a.m. on Thursday, state police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving at least three vehicles. Stuart I. Rosenblat, 64, of Greenwich, N.Y. was travelling east on Route 313 in Arlington whenhe lost control of his green Subaru, colliding with a Honda Pilot driven by Denise A. Elwell, of Arlington, who was in the oncoming lane. This forced Elwell and a third vehicle, a Honda CR-V operated by Dale K. Robinson, of Saratoga, N.Y., off the northern edge of the roadway. Police reported that several other vehicles had slid off the roadway at the crash scene due to the icy road conditions. Three people were transported to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center for minor injuries. No court action will be taken as a result of the accident.
