Cookies and clay, a Long Trail tradition

DORSET >> Long Trail School welcomes children of all ages to LTS to decorate a cookie to enter into its Gingerbread Man/Woman Decorating Contest on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 2-4 p.m. Students will be on hand to assist younger children with their sweet artistic creations. Prizes will be awarded to cookies in three categories: ages 2-5, ages 6-9 and ages 10+. At the same time, adults and children are invited to make some clay bowls for Empty Bowls 2017.

After Cookies and Clay, join in for the 6th Annual Lighted Tractor Parade at 5 p.m. in Manchester, part of Manchester and the Mountains Manchester Merriment celebration.
