Community visit a success
We wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make Monday's Community Visit process a grand success! So many people from our broader community took the time to participate and offer their thoughts, concerns, hopes, and dreams... and this is just the first step in the process.
Thanks to the Town, Fire Department, Synagogue, and BBA for hosting the day's events; thanks to MEMS for preparing a delicious dinner; thanks to Earth, Sky, Time for donating their wonderful bread; and to everyone else who helped make this happen, whether quietly behind the scenes or in very public manner. Thank you to the Selectboard for inviting the Vermont Council on Rural Development to bring its proven process to Manchester, and thank you to our financial sponsors: Vermont Country Store, Bill Drunsic, and an anonymous donor through the Vermont Community Foundation. We are committed to helping facilitate this process with the Council on Rural Development going forward, and then the work is ours as a community to turn dreams into reality.
