Community forum on media planned

MANCHESTER >> Our readers are invited to join The Journal's managing team later this month for a meet-up and discussion about the local media's role in Manchester life.

Our "Meet Your Media" event will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, at The Manchester Public Library Community Room, 138 Cemetery Ave., in Manchester Center. The event is free, but reservations are encouraged by calling (413) 496-6377.

Since no one knows Manchester better than the people and businesses who call it home, who is better than you to help us provide the best possible news experience for our community? Leading members of the Journal staff — from reporting to delivery and all steps in between — will be on hand to take your questions and remarks about the local media's role in Manchester life. So bring your comments, your suggestions, and your ideas for Manchester.

Our panel members include Ed Woods, CEO and regional publisher; Kevin Moran, regional VP of news; Jordan Brechenser, regional VP of advertising; Warren Dews Jr., regional VP of sales, audience development, and marketing; Andrew Swanton, regional VP of operations; Catherine Wandrei, human resources manager; Nelson Bernard, VP of Eagle Printing; Andrew McKeever, managing editor; and Susan Plaisance, media sales manager.
