Cheese House vandalized

ARLINGTON - A gift shop on Route 7A was reportedly vandalized sometime during the night of Oct. 23-4, state police say.

On Wednesday, Oct. 24, shortly before 10 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a reported attempted burglary at the Cheese House. This incident occurred between 5 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 24. After an investigation the Vermont State Police found this incident to be an act of vandalism, according to the police report.

The vandalism caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to the exterior of the building. The Vermont State Police are continuing to investigate this incident.
