'Chanticleer' to perform at Northshire Performing Arts concert

MANCHESTER >> "The World's Reigning Male Chorus," according to New Yorker Magazine, the Grammy Award

winning, San Francisco-based group will perform their celebratory 38th season tour program, "Over The Moon," on Tuesday, July 26 at 7:30 p.m. at the Arkell Pavilion at the southern Vermont arts Center. The program will showcase Chanticleer's unique gift for finding the common human thread in centuries of music, linking Mahler and di Lasso, Bates, Elgar, and Monteverdi, along with treatments of jazz standards by Mancini and Bart Howard, and more recent songs.

In 2016, they will have performed in Austria, Germany, Italy, Hong Kong, Singapore, Macao, the People's Republic of China – and Manchester, Vermont.

Tickets are $45 and $15 for students 18 and under. All seats are reserved. Tickets can only be obtained through Northshire Performing Arts, at 802-867-4146, or email them at npa2005@me.com.
