Calling Volunteers For PAVE

BENNINGTON >> Are you looking to bring in the New Year by making a difference? Why wait? The moment of power is now. Project Against Violent Encounters (PAVE), needs you. Better yet, you can volunteer from the comfort of your home, all you need is a cell phone.

For over 30 years Pave has been a valuable resource for Bennington County; providing a variety of advocacy services for those who have experienced a domestic or sexual encounter. Leaving an abusive situation can be a fearful experience. Often the first step in receiving help begins with a call to our 24/hr hotline. In many cases the hotline serves as a stepping-stone and a safe place to call for support and guidance. Last year PAVE's hotline answered over 1,000 calls. Would you consider being the person who answers the call?

PAVE provides volunteers with advocacy training that will increase confidence in working with survivors. The only way to make change is to step -up and be a part of the solution.

Call PAVE today for more information on our upcoming training. (802) 442-2370
