Bromley Terrain-based learning offered

MANCHESTER - There's still time to sign up for Bromley Mountain's free Introduction to their Terrain Based Learning technique - learning to ski or snowboard using terrain features to their best advantage.

The event will take place on Dec. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. An All-Day Learning Zone Lift Ticket is included. Equipment rentals will also be free for the morning.

Skiers and riders must be at least five-years-old and participation is limited to the first 150 applicants. Reservations must be made by phone, by calling 802-824-5522 by 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20.

The ski and snowboard staff will be available all morning to help people earn to ski and ride using this new terrain based technique to its best advantage.

People may then stick around to practice in the Learning Zone, have lunch - all participants will get a discount on food and beverages - and check out all the vendors at Bromley's Holiday Expo to load up on all kinds of freebies and money-saving coupons from Burton, Rossignol, Potter Brothers, Skull Candy, and Vew Do, among others.

Bromley is ranked one of the Top Family Mountains in the U.S. and, as a thank you to all the folks who've helped the mountain reach that rank, they're giving them the gift of free Terrain Based Learning.
