Board changes announced at Prevent Child Abuse Vermont


MONTPELIER >> Prevent Child Abuse Vermont (PCAVT) has announced the results of the 2015 Officers of the Board elections. Elected at the Dec. 9, 2015 Board of Directors meeting, the following Board Members will serve one year terms as officers of PCAVT beginning immediately.

·Patricia A. McDonald of Berlin, President

·Meg Herrington, LCMHC of Manchester Center, Vice President

·Jeff Small, CPA of South Burlington, Treasurer

·Nancy Russell of White River Junction, Secretary

PCAVT welcomes Steve Dale of Montpelier to the Board of Directors as well as returning Director, Bill Miller of Essex.

The entire Board and Staff of PCAVT are committed to strengthening families, schools, and communities to ensure that all children are feel safe, connected, and supported.

PCAVT is the Vermont Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and the National Circle of Parents. The mission of PCAVT is to promote and support healthy relationships within families, schools and communities to eliminate child abuse. PCAVT has been serving children and families for 39 years by creating, adopting and carrying out innovative, highly effective prevention programs. PCAVT serves thousands of children, adolescents, parents, caregivers and educators each year throughout the state of Vermont.
