Bits and Bites: Local fries so good 'you can't handle it'

Top fry recently released a list of the top 19 restaurants in Vermont that have "fries so good you can't handle it." Making the list is a few local favorites.

Whetstone Station Restaurant and Brewery — located at 36 Bridge St., Brattleboro — was given recognition for its fries, best served alongside the brewery's Peanut Butter Burger and "fantastic beer selection."

Bennington's own Lil' Britain — located on North Street — was picked for its "superb" fries and "the fish & chips combo is one of the best you'll get this side of the Atlantic." We can't disagree!

Hazel's poutine offering was also picked. The Brattleboro restaurant also serves specialty pizzas and barbecue platters.
