BAYADA hospice to host bereavement group

MANCHESTER - BAYADA Hospice will hold free bereavement support group meetings for adults who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

Participants will have the opportunity to share experiences, express feelings, and receive support within a safe and nurturing environment. The support groups will be held on the first and third Wednesday of each month, starting Aug. 7, from 2 - 3:30 p.m. at the Mark Skinner Library. They will be facilitated by Beth Newman, MSW, who is the BAYADA Hospice bereavement counselor. She will provide information about the grieving process and offer strategies for coping with change and moving forward.

"The loss of a loved one can be one of life's most difficult challenges," said Phyllis Tarbell, RN, BSN, director of BAYADA Hospice. "Coming together with others who have experienced loss can provide comfort and healing, and can help people get back to a sense of normalcy." For more information or to RSVP, call 802-282-4122.
