Baum named director of national foundation

ARLINGTON - Dr. Frederick W. Baum of the Arlington Animal Hospital has been named Director of the VIN Foundation. The Veterinary Information Network (VIN) is based out of Davis, Calif. and serves over 43,000 veterinarians worldwide. The VIN Foundation is its charitable arm providing research, data, support, and assistance to veterinarians in transition across the United States and around the world.

While continuing to practice in Arlington, Baum will oversee the strategic and long term direction of the foundation while helping to build collaborations with other veterinary associations. Baum is the director of the Arlington Animal Hospital and staff veterinarian at the Animal Emergency Clinic in Latham, N.Y.
