Arts in the Garden
Our community was saddened by the closing of Al Ducci's last week after a 22-year run. Unfortunately, my comment for the Manchester Journal left some wondering about the viability of other anchor retailers in the Depot District. Nothing could be further from the intent - Garden Arts along with their new and vibrant Fresh Market is a key anchor in the Depot. At the Fresh Market, Steve Burson is pulling out all the stops to bring lively weekly events to the Depot; Manchester Hot Glass, a favorite guest activity is busy on Elm Street, as well as the Firefly Restaurant, Maiden Lane Antiques, Ramsay Gourd and Robin Lane. The Chamber will again host the Manchester Car Show Cruise-In in the Depot Parking lot and along adjoining streets on June 7th. Take a stroll through the Depot and patronize our local retailers to help us all thrive!
