ARLINGTON - Listen to the sounds of the winter season as Fisher Elementary School and Arlington Memorial High School & Middle School (AMHS) students perform at several choral concerts this December. These events are under the direction of Music and Chorus Director Patti Cody who will be accompanied by pianist Deborah Weiler. All performances are free and open to the community.

"This is Our Wish" is the theme of the AMHS Winter Chorus Concert which will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. in the Mack Performing Arts Center.

The evening will feature the sounds of the high school and middle school choruses as well as two select groups of singers, Patti's Angels and the Madrigals. More than 60 students participate in these chorus groups.

The AMHS chorus groups will perform at three additional venues. On Saturday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m., they will sing at the town's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Community House on Main Street. On Thursday, Dec. 13, they travel to Bennington to sing for the residents at Filmore Pond (10:15 a.m.) and to Manchester to sing for "Neighbor to Neighbor" at the First Congregational Church (1 p.m.). On Sunday, Dec. 16, Patti's Angels will perform a mini-concert and lead a carol sing along at the Equinox Village in Manchester beginning at 2:30 p.m.
