Archeology lecture set at Dorset Historical Society

DORSET - On Thursday, Sept. 19, at 12 p.m. the Dorset Historical Society will host lecturer, Dave Lacey, archaeologist of the Green Mountain National Forest Heritage Program in Rutland, who will speak about "Archaeological Findings on the Southern Vermont Leg of the Long Trail." Lacey will be speaking in recognition of Vermont's Archaeology Month, which occurs every September in this state. Visitors are invited to bring a sandwich to the lecture at the Society's Bley House Museum at the corner of Kent Hill Road and Route 30 in Dorset. Refreshments and dessert will be provided.
