An Interfaith Holiday Project Thanks

To the Editor:

I'm late, I'm late said the rabbit And the Drunsics say the same. Three months late, in fact and Excuses are more than lame.

Tho' late it is, we must confess, That Manchester still is true, To helping out the needy, And we gratefully thank all of you.

Thanks to the churches and temple, To the Lions, the seniors, and others. To the many generous shoppers, Whether MEMS kids, fathers or mothers.

With 102 families to handle and toys for 103, the task seemed monumental but we did it handily. To Hand, Scholastic Books and others we are grateful, That toys were all delivered in bags and by the crateful.

The food was boxed and sorted, 8,000 pounds in all, So families could have lots to eat no matter how large or small. So thanks again to all who helped make the Interfaith's mission clear. You helped provide a holiday for all the many families here.
