Alzheimers Support Group to meet

MANCHESTER - Alzheimer's Association Caregivers Support Groups meet to provide assistance and information on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

They are designed to promote emotional, educational and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. The group encourage caregivers to maintain their own personal, physical and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia.

The meeting is free and open to caregivers, friends, and family of those affected by this disease. Please note that this support group is not for those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

This group meets the second Friday of the month. The next meeting is May 10, at 1:30 p.m. The group meets at Equinox Terrace, located at 324 Equinox Terrace Road. For more information, contact Pat Meredith 802-345-8334.
