Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group forming

MANCHESTER - Alzheimer's Association Caregivers Support Groups meet to provide assistance and information on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

They emphasize shared experiences, emotional support, and coping techniques in care for an impaired person. The meeting is free and open to the public. Families, caregivers, friends, and professionals may attend.

Those interested in attending should note that this support group is not for those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

This group meets the second Friday of the month. The next meeting is Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Equinox Terrace, 324 Equinox Terrace Road, Manchester Center. For more information, (802)-345-8334.
