A whale of a thank you
The Second Congregational Church in Londonderry would like to extend a whale-size "thank you" to all those who donated items and shopped at our annual Whale of a Sale.
The Whale of a Sale was a big success all because we live in such an incredible community that supports our efforts. It is through this sale that we are able to serve our community through spiritual growth, Christian education, outreach and pastoral care, as well as a space for many organizations to meet. Thank you.
The delicious bake sale and tag sale has been happening for approximately 23 years. Originally started by Doris Tyler way-back-when on her front lawn, it has grown to be one of the most sought-after tag sales in Southern Vermont.
This year's Whale of a Sale has been dedicated to the loving memory of Doris Tyler who passed away Tuesday, July 23 at 90 years old.
Thank you Doris for starting a tradition that will forever hold you in appreciation. We look forward to many more years to come!
