MANCHESTER >> Headlining our July game the Southshire Battle Cats will take the track against the Twin City Riots from Barre-Montpelier. The Riots have a long history of derby here in Vermont and it's the first time these two teams will meet.

The matchup will begin at 6 p.m.

Before the full contact derby, our Junior program will take the track at 5 p.m. to show off their skills and drills as they train this year for competition in 2017. We'll be a few weeks into our summer program, so we'll have a range of skills from just starting to Level 2.

After the game, families and friends are invited to stick around and continue to enjoy refreshments from Riley Rink's great food service and adult beverages from Ramunto's for our first ever "After Party at the Rink." We'll play some music so feel free to put on your dancing shoes and visit with your favorite skaters and officials. We'll keep the photo booth open for plenty of fun photos!"
