The Bulldogs went up 2-0 early in the second behind goals from Aggie Bisselle and Mary Leech, but Rutland was able to tie the game up before the second period finished and took the lead early in the third.
But with 1:25 to play and the Bulldogs on the power play, Kristi Lewicki dug the puck out from the corner and found Bisselle to tie things up.
"It was one of those games," BBA coach Ed Lewicki said. "It was not our best effort by a long shot." Kaylie Benson stopped 13 shots for the Bulldogs, who move to 9-1-2 on the year.
