RUTLAND -- Playing in its third game in as many days, the Burr and Burton Academy boys basketball team battled back from a 20-point deficit to top MSJ 99-95 in triple overtime at MSJ on Thursday night.

Joey Shehadi led the way for the Bulldogs, posting a game-high 37 points in the win. Shehadi nailed eight three-pointers in the contest.

Tyeshawn Gadson was right behind Shehadi with 35 points, while Taylor Muench posted 23 of his own in the win.

"I don't even know how to describe it," said BBA coach Dave Shehadi. "It was back-and-forth shot making. We just played one of the greatest high school games ever."

Kyle Cassarino led MSJ with 32 points.

BBA moves to 6-0 with the win, and will look to keep its perfect season going on Saturday as the team travels to Hartford for a 7 p.m. contest.
