For the boys, the win secured their fifth consecutive state championship as they easily defeated second place finisher South Burlington High School who scored 117 to BBA's 85.
The boys fell behind on Thursday - the first day of competition - placing second in the halfpipe to South Burlington who scored 26 to BBA's 33. The boys took a narrow four point lead after Friday morning's giant slalom competition in which they bested South Burlington 40 to 51.
Burr and Burton secured their fifth state championship with a dominant finish in the slopestyle event in which they beat South Burlington by 28 points posting a score of 12 to South Burlington's 40.
Bellows Free Academy came in third in the state championships with a team score of 155 overall. They scored 56 in the halfpipe competition, 53 in the giant slalom and 46 in the slopestyle competition.
While BBA did not have any riders on the boys team place in the top five in the halfpipe, Will Helmetag took second in the giant slalom portion of the state championships. In the slopestyle event, BBA's Jake Guadet, Elliot Buckley and Sam Eisenhaur all reached the podium.
The girls snowboarding was every bit as dominant as the boys team last Thursday and Friday, winning their first state championship since 2008 by a 27 point margin over second place
The girls posted a team score of 19 to Black River's 46. North Country placed third with an overall team score of 70.
BBA's Caroline Kepler, Kiersten Lima and Katy Jones all podiumed in the halfpipe on Thursday giving BBA a nine point lead heading into the second day of competition. BBA extended their lead by another nine points in the giant slalom event with Kepler placing second and Cali Wadsworth third.
The Bulldogs secured the state title in the slopestyle competition later in the day on Friday with Lima, Kepler and Gabi Hasaj taking first, second and third, respectively.
