RUTLAND - Rutland High School varsity lacrosse coach Jake Rick and will be holding a non-contact, skills program that is designed to introduce America's "First Sport" to players. The program, for players in grades K-2, began March 3 and will take place on Sundays from 10-11 a.m. until April 21.

The fee to participate is $58 for residents and $69 for non-residents. A lacrosse stick and mouth guard will be required.

For players in grades 3-6 this is a great chance to work on the skills required to be successful in lacrosse. Instructor Kyle Bougeois will work with a variety of skill levels.

An indoor field hockey program for students in grades K-6 will also be held from March 16 until April 20.

Brooke Towslee and others will teach the fundamentals of field hockey and hold scrimmages.
